I'm not sure how to put this down shortly. There is a boy from my old school. I barely spoke to him. We were classmates for just one year, then I changed schools. So whenever I have a dream with a school setting, he always... always will be there. He won't do anything or talk to me. He'll just look at me, and that's it. He never spoke a word in my dreams or in my life, ig, except for one time. That was the only interaction I remember having with him in my life. We're all grown up now. We connected through Insta after many years, and I saw his recent pics. Suddenly, I felt like something might be there, like a connection (I'm so delulu about that). I've never felt this way about him before. Even after seeing him all grown up, he still comes into my dreams with the same old schoolboy look. He was there in my dream last night. What do you all think? Should I make a move or its just my brain creating stupid pattern?
Dreams can be complex reflections of our conscious and subconscious thoughts, feelings, and memories. Here's a detailed interpretation of your dream scenario and what it might mean:
Unresolved Connections: Seeing a familiar face from your past, especially someone who you barely interacted with, might indicate an unresolved connection or curiosity. The fact that he frequently appears in your dreams, particularly in a school setting, suggests that he represents a pivotal period in your life—perhaps a time of learning, growing, or forming your identity.
Symbol of Nostalgia: School is often a place of nostalgia and formative experiences. The boy, appearing as his younger self in your dreams, may symbolize an element of your past or youth that you still hold onto or are processing. It might not directly relate to him as a person, but rather what he signifies—perhaps innocence, potential untapped opportunities, or a simpler time.
Manifestation of Change or Transition: Dreaming about people from your past may occur during times of transition or change. Connecting with someone from your schooling years, and then dreaming about them afterward, can be your mind’s way of dealing with these emotions and transitions.
Exploring Newfound Feelings: Your recent online reconnection and the emotions that surfaced may have built a bridge between your past and your present feelings. This connection could be manifesting as dreams to help you explore these emotions at a subconscious level.
Silent Observer: His role as a silent observer in your dream could indicate that there's a part of you that is reflecting or contemplating choices or paths not taken. His silence doesn’t necessarily hint at something negative or unachievable; rather, it's a canvas upon which you can project your thoughts and feelings.
Regarding making a move, ask yourself these questions:
Trust your instincts, but also consider having a conversation with him as friends first to see if there is indeed something deeper or if it's just rekindling an old connection. Dreams can offer insight, but ultimately, your real-life interactions and feelings should guide your decisions.
